Frequently asked questions

What is a Giving Day?

A Giving Day is an opportunity for the Millfield community all over the world to unite to make a lasting difference to the lives of our students. During this fundraising challenge will be raising money for the Discover Brilliance Fund, the purpose of which is to enable us to offer life-changing bursaries to talented children who wouldn’t otherwise be able to attend the school.

Through events such as this, we have set ourselves the ambitious target of building an endowment fund, and securing future provision for bursaries, by raising £100 million in time for the school’s centenary in 2035!

What difference will my donation make?

Your gift today will help us provide life-changing opportunities for children who would not otherwise be able to attend the school.

All gifts, whatever size they may be, add up. Having a large number of donors encourages others to support us too. So, whatever you can give, you can be sure that your contribution is effective and greatly appreciated.

How can I make my gift?

We want to make it easy for you to participate in our giving day, and gifts can be given a variety of ways on the day:
